James is the founder and leader of Mango Tree Media and has over 10 years of experience in the Information Technology field. He places high value on relationship building, authenticity, and frequent communication. James loves meeting people and sharing ideas, but secretly harbors an inner nerd that emerges when creating and coding new websites. But don't fear, people tell him he's one of the few that can explain nerdy stuff in real English.

Brian Hansen
Project Manager, Graphic Designer, Print and Video Production
Brian's natural ability to make people feel comfortable and ask them great questions is what drives his success in both project management and graphic design. Yes, we agree, Project Management and Design abilities are a rare combination, but with over 8 years experience as director of media/production for two different non-profits, Brian proves that they can actually exist in one person, with impressive results.

Jennifer Friesen
Vice-President and Business Manager
Jen's exceptional organizational and administrative skills and experience as an accountant help keep the business end of things focused and on track. She also loves thinking of marketing ideas and ways to improve service to our clients, and helping them them with press releases and content updates 

Louie Stephens 
Web Designer, CSS Ninja, Graphic Designer, Artist/Creative Professional
Louie specializes in building websites using CSS & HTML, and has been involved with web-related technologies since 1998. With attention to details, he takes great pride in getting every aspect of a website to adhere to usability and design guidelines. Educated at The Art Institute of Chicago, he is an artist at heart and incorporates pleasing aesthetics into his work. Pushing the envelope with every project, his results are sophisticated and poised at the forefront of the latest trends.

Tammy Morales
Canadian Client Care and Administration
Tammy has a history of building strong relationships in business contexts and is an accomplished project manager. Tammy runs two other businesses besides her role with Mango Tree, so she definitely knows what she is doing the business world.

Mission and Vision 

Mango Tree Media was formed in 2006 by founders and owners James and Jennifer Friesen. After eight years of working overseas for a non-profit organization, we felt called to a new challenge and vision.

The mission of Mango Tree Media is to provide fully guaranteed, high quality websites delivered with superior customer service to companies who want assurance that their website will be implemented to their complete satisfaction

Our vision and passion is to build a successful website design company that is based on technical excellence, superior customer service, client communication, and great-looking, easy-to-use, and highly functional websites. Phew... that's a mouthful! And yes, that’s shooting pretty high, but we are confident that it’s a goal that we are already achieving and will continue to improve on.

We directly target companies/organizations that have had poor customer service experiences and/or mediocre websites. We'll show them what great customer service and modern web design looks like, and then grow our business off of their willing referrals.

One of our main long-term goals is to start a student and recent graduate internship program with local universities to offer aspiring web designers the chance to learn real world web design and be mentored in their professional careers and spiritual walks.

We at Mango Tree Media believe that mentorship is an important way to get involved in the lives of young people and help them realize their full potential.
