Exterior Wood Restoration is an industry leader in the field of wood preservation and needed a web site that exemplified the same high standards. Mango Tree Media provided a site that effectively educated potential clients about the processes, techniques, and materials used by the company in an aesthetically beautiful way.

Mr. Video specializes in live event videography, specializing in the live recording of chearleading/dance events, musical events, sporting events, conventions, conferences, meetings, and live seminars. They also offer post-production editing and the sale of DVDs of the event. Mr. Video also offers an online subscription service that allows subscribers to watch recordings online. The site created for Mr. Video allows them to effectively communicate the details of events, facilitate the sale of DVDs and merchandise, and manage the leveled subsciptions and video streams.

The site developed for Landscape Solutions beautifully communicates the many different services offerec by the company and showcases the innovations the company has made in eco-friendly lanscape maintenance practices. 

Mango Tree deveoped a site that empowered AMP to pursue the mission of the organization, which is to, "bring together all stakeholders of music eduation to defend the interests of our students and ensure that music and the arts remain an integral discipline within the core education system in America." The site allows for various levels of membership and access to educational resources, monthly webinars, a social network, discussion forums, industry discounts, and more.

As I sat on the train on my way home to Indianapolis from the Joomla  “J and Beyond 2011” Conference in Krekrade, Netherlands, I was thinking about the weekend’s experience and how many people who worked with Joomla missed out on an amazing experience.  If your business is related in any way to Joomla, here are the top 5 reasons you should attend and a Joomla Conference, and why I definitely plan to be there again next year:

Have you ever had a larger Joomla! website that had nested menu items? Often on those sites you might have the top level menu items in the main nav bar, but then you want to display second level menu items using a Joomla menu module (type mod_mainmenu) in the sidebar.

On the weekend of January 14-16 James and Brian headed down to the IUPUI campus in downtown Indianapolis to participate in RefreshIndy to participate in the crazy but meaningful Refresh Weekend. Participating web developers were divided into 4 groups and assigned their non-profit to work with.

We were fortunate to be paired with Anna's Celebration of Life, an Indianapolis non-profit dedicated to helping local kids with disabilities,in memory of the founder's daughter Anna.

They turned out to be a great client to work with, and we had a fun and cohesive team of 6 developers and videographers. In 48 hours we started a website from scratch and ended up with their brand new site.
